Project Interloop is a private server for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 (version 12.41). It allows you to experience the golden age of Fortnite with The Agency, Midas, Mythic weapons, and all the original content from that beloved season.

Yes! The game is completely free to play. You can download the launcher and play for free. We also offer a free starter pack with V-Bucks and cosmetics. Optional premium packs are available if you want to support the project.

Project Interloop uses a completely separate client and does not connect to Epic's servers. Your main Epic/Fortnite account is never at risk. We use a custom launcher and authentication system that is independent from Epic Games.

Everything from Chapter 2 Season 2! This includes:

• The Agency, The Shark, The Grotto, The Rig, and The Yacht POIs
• Midas, Brutus, Skye, TNTina, and Meowscles bosses
• All Mythic weapons (Midas's Drum Gun, Brutus's Minigun, etc.)
• The original Battle Pass with all Chapter 2 Season 2 cosmetics
• Henchmen, Vaults, and the original loot pool

The requirements are the same as Fortnite Chapter 2:

• OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
• CPU: Intel i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 or better
• RAM: 8 GB minimum
• GPU: GTX 660 / RX 460 or better
• Storage: ~35 GB for game files
• Other: Discord account required for login

Our launcher can help you download the correct version automatically. Alternatively, you can find Fortnite 12.41 game files from various Fortnite archive sources. Join our Discord for download links and setup help.

Windows SmartScreen may block the launcher because it's a new application. To fix this:

1. Right-click the launcher installer
2. Click "Properties"
3. Check "Unblock" at the bottom
4. Click OK and run the installer

Alternatively, when the SmartScreen popup appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway".

Some antivirus programs may flag our launcher due to the DLL injection used to redirect the game to our servers. This is a false positive. Add the Interloop launcher folder to your antivirus exclusions to prevent issues.

Try these steps:

1. Run the launcher as Administrator
2. Make sure you have the correct Fortnite version (12.41)
3. Disable any overlay software (Discord overlay, GeForce Experience, etc.)
4. Update your graphics drivers
5. Check if the servers are online (status shown in launcher)

Yes! The launcher includes a full friends system. Add friends using their Discord username, invite them to your party, and queue into games together. Voice chat is also supported through Discord.

Currently, matches support up to 100 players, just like the original game. The actual player count depends on how many people are queuing at the same time. Bots fill empty slots to ensure games start quickly.

You can unlock cosmetics in several ways:

• Free Starter Pack: Claim once per account for free V-Bucks and items
• Battle Pass: Progress through the season and unlock tiers
• Item Shop: Use V-Bucks to buy rotating daily items
• Premium Packs: Purchase packs for instant V-Bucks and exclusive items

Server availability depends on when a game host is running. Check the server status indicator on this website or in the launcher. Join our Discord for announcements about scheduled game sessions and events.

We use Discord for authentication because it's secure, free, and most gamers already have an account. Your Discord account is used for login, friends list, and to link purchases to your Interloop profile.

Purchases are processed through PayPal. When you buy a pack or V-Bucks:

1. Click the purchase button (you must be logged in)
2. You'll be redirected to PayPal to complete payment
3. Items are instantly added to your Interloop account
4. Launch the game to see your new items!

Items should be delivered instantly. If you don't see them:

1. Restart the launcher and check your locker
2. Make sure you were logged in when purchasing
3. Check your PayPal to confirm the payment went through
4. Contact us on Discord with your Discord username and PayPal transaction ID

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you have an issue with your purchase, contact us on Discord within 24 hours of the transaction. We'll do our best to help!
